xQc is Twitch’s biggest streamer in 2022
The year 2022 is over, but not before Canadian streamer xQc was crowned Twitch’s most-watched streamer of the year for the third time in a row.
Felix Lengyel, real name of xQc, spent 3.29K hours online on Amazon’s streaming platform and with that generated a total of 224.45 million hours watched on his channel.
The year 2022 was also a personal record for xQc, which achieved a new audience peak on its Twitch channel, which took place in April, during the Closed Beta broadcast of “Overwatch 2”, when the streamer reached a peak of 330,000 viewers on his livestream.
Second place went to Brazilian streamer Gaules, who stood out in 2022 with broadcasts of “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” championships. In 2022, Gaules earned an audience of 161.3 million hours watched.

Spanish channels dominate Twitch in terms of average audience
Despite xQc‘s dominance in terms of hours watched on Twitch, there were some Spanish channels that stood out in terms of average audience.
According to the StreamCharts website, auronplay had the highest average audience in 2022, with an average of 91,000 viewers in his livestreams. Second place is also from Spain: ibai, which had 83 thousand spectators on average in 2022.
