Brazilians dominate the list of biggest streamers in the world in Q1 2024

The first quarter of 2024 has passed and the time has come to look back at this period and analyze the scenario of the live streaming community. And it was no different: Brazilian streamers dominate the list of most watched.

While we watch from the sidelines the growth of Kick in its dispute with Twitch for domination in the live streaming area, the first quarter of 2024 placed two of the biggest Brazilian streamers as the most watched in the world. Yes, we are talking about CazéTV (Casimiro) and Gaules.

The biggest streamers in the world

As the website StreamsCharts pointed out, the most watched streamers in the world are generally those that broadcast gaming championships, such as League of Legends and Counter-Strike 2, but in the case of the CazéTV channel, the streamer’s specialty is sports, especially football.

Quite popular in Brazil, Casimiro has already become an alternative for television broadcasts of football championships and, as a result, guarantees a huge audience.

According to StreamsCharts, the CazéTV channels on YouTube and Twitch, combined, achieved no less than 110 million hours watched. This number is almost three times higher than the second place in the quarter, also Brazilian Gaules, who had 37 million hours watched on his Twitch and YouTube channels together.

The CazéTV channel’s peak audience in this first quarter of the year was an incredible 2.4 million people.
