Tiny Thor

Tiny Thor, the interesting marriage of puzzle and platformer

Since I love platform games, I decided to take a look at the platform games that have been released recently and Tiny Thor is one of them.

And for my luck, the game was a great ride!

Tiny Thor brings platforms and endless challenges

Like a good platform game, Tiny Thor presents hundreds of challenges with a vast world full of secrets, where with your exploration, using Thor’s favorite weapon, the Mjolnir, new paths and places can be found.

Not to mention the replay value, because over time the player receives more and more powers and by chance I discovered that going back and revisiting new stages made total sense, here’s the tip…

Tiny Thor

The secret behind the wall…

As I mentioned earlier, the game is full of secrets inspired by many games from the 90s and 2000s, such as Castlevania and Metroid. This ends up extending your playing time a little, as I managed to finish the game’s main campaign in around 6 hours, exploring just over half of its content.

I believe that if you’re the type of creator who likes to complete everything in every game you play for your audience, this game is certainly a good choice!

The biggest question that remains is: “Is it worth creating content?”

I can safely say, yes!

Especially for streamers and content creators who like a retro-style game that’s really challenging and has very creative puzzles that make you think of different ways to solve different puzzles and perhaps come up with unusual ways to solve some of the game’s more complex puzzles.

But an important tip for streamers in particular: the game can contain very large stages so it will also require a bit of more of your charm and attention to entertain the audience while you solve the puzzles.

Summary

Tiny Thor is a very rich game and works very well with the theme of Norse myths, sometimes in a more cartoonish and immature way, but it stays true to what it sets out to do, puzzles and platforming working together for an enjoyable experience.
