Still growing, Palworld reaches 25 million players
We haven’t even reached the third month of 2024 and we already have a huge success in the games industry this year: Palworld. The Pocketpair game continues to grow and now celebrates the milestone of 25 million players.
Yes, the number is impressive, especially after recent information that the game, released for PC and Xbox, directly on Game Pass, lost a large number of daily players on Steam.
The achievement of 25 million players in just over a month of Palworld’s launch was proudly celebrated by the developers in an announcement on their official social networks, where they also revealed that the player base is divided as follows:
- 15 million players on Steam
- 10 million players on Xbox
The Palworld developer team, which is currently in Early Access, knows that they still have a lot to work on in the game and, in their announcement celebrating 25 million players, they reaffirmed their commitment to fixing the bugs currently present in the game and preventing further cheating.
🎉Total number of players exceeds 25 million🎉

Palworld on Steam
While Palworld’s performance numbers on Xbox platforms are not completely transparent, on Steam we can get an overview of how Pocketpair’s game is performing, especially now, a month after its launch in Early Access.
According to data shown by the SteamDB website, Palworld remains in the Top 5 of the most popular games on the platform, currently with more than 280 thousand simultaneous players.
Palworld’s record, however, is impressive. The game is officially the second most played on Steam, with a peak of 2,101,867 simultaneous players on the platform. The number is only lower than that of PUBG, which surpassed 3.2 million simultaneous players in January 2018, even before becoming a free game.
