League of Legends Arena Mode

League of Legends: The best Team Comps for Arena Mode

Long awaited by the community of League of Legends players, Arena Mode, with 2v2v2v2 matches, focused on the battle itself, arrives on the Riot Games‘ MOBA on July 20th, but the players on PBE – Public Beta Environment, the game’s test server, are already enjoying the new modality.

And with that, we can know some of the best compositions for Arena Mode.

Damage, Crowd Control, and Support

With battles as the focus, of course champions that deal more damage and have greater resistance will be the main choices of players, but make no mistake: with the enhancement system, similar to Teamfight Tactics, Arena Mode can turn support characters into great fighting champions.

Characters with great crowd control skills also stand out among the Arena Mode players’ choices on the PBE.

The best Arena Mode comps in League of Legends

The compositions for League of Legends Arena Mode are numerous and each pair of players must find the best composition for their playstyle, but some of them already stand out among the players of the new mode on the PBE.

Here they are:

Samira + Rell

Samira Rell

One of the most popular compositions in Arena Mode is Samira and Rell, thanks to the great synergy between the two champions. With Rell’s great Crowd Control abilities, Samira can focus on dealing all the damage and leading the duo to victory.

The Samira and Rell duo is pretty straightforward: Rell hits enemies with her Crowd Control and can take a lot of damage, while Samira attacks the enemy duo, dealing the most damage and with the possibility of dealing additional Crowd Control.

Samira’s ULT can then do Area Damage.

Mordekaiser + Kha’Zix

Mordekaiser Kha'Zix

A somewhat strange composition, in theory, is that of Mordekaiser with Kha’Zix, but make no mistake: the duo works well in League of Legends Arena Mode. For that, the duo will need Mordekaiser’s ULT and Kha’Zix’s isolation bonus damage.

The duo Mordekaiser and Kha’Zix have a few different strategies to be successful and players will have to find the best of these playstyles for their abilities.

Lulu + Twitch/Vayne

Lulu Twitch Vayne

Support champion comp can be a bad idea in a battle-focused mod, but if used well, it can do real damage. And this is where Lulu comes in, whether accompanied by Twitch or Vayne.

In these compositions, well known at Bot Lane in Summoner’s Rift, the traditional League of Legends mode, Lulu stands out as one of the best enchanters that Riot Games’ MOBA has. Along with Twitch, which does very well with enchanters, this build can be quite successful in Arena Mode.

Gameplay is simple: Lulu provides protection, while Twitch or Vayne deals all the damage in battle. The lack of many Crowd Control skills can be a problem, giving Lulu a lot of importance in the composition, keeping her teammate alive long enough to be able to win the battle.

Comps with Taric

Taric

Among the most successful compositions, those that reached the final round of Arena Mode on the PBE, there is a common denominator in almost all of them: Taric.

The champion appears in 7 of the compositions that reached the Top 2 and in 8 of the winning duos.

With Taric, the duo can benefit from great damage with the possibility of healing and shields, both for the champion and his teammate. Taric can also leave the duo invulnerable thanks to his ULT.
