Kick continued its growth trajectory in February

Continuing its growth trajectory and going against the tide experienced by Twitch, Kick achieved great results for the platform in February, even with a small drop in the total number of hours watched.

A new record on average number of viewers

Don’t be fooled by the small drop of 2% in total hours watched on Kick in February, the platform had everything it needed to achieve a new monthly record if it had a few more days to count.

And the math for this is simple: the records in the number of users, channels and viewers on the platform, including a new record in average viewers in the history of Kick: 188,073, an increase of 6% compared to January.

The data was released by the website StreamsCharts, which also showed that Kick grew in basically all metrics related to channels and viewers, only losing in hours watched, ending the month with a total of 130,209,097 hours watched.

Despite positioning itself as Twitch’s direct competitor, Kick’s number of hours watched does not reach 10% of the total achieved by Amazon’s live streaming platform, considered the main one in the segment, especially when it comes to gamer content broadcasts.

The biggest streamers on Kick

Another month has ended and once again the streamer Adinross is the most popular on Kick, in total hours watched. In fact, the Top 3 remained the same in relation to January, with xQc in second place and n3on in third.

The biggest growth of the month was from Spanish streamer zelika, which rose 17 positions to appear in the Top 10 in 8th position.

Amouranth, who left Twitch to broadcast on Kick, also appeared among the 10 most popular streamers, after rising 7 positions compared to January.
