Wéko The Mask Gatherer is the first game from Swiss studio SIRO Games. Wéko invites us into what you might call a tribute to the games of the 90s, Zelda in particular. You’re probably going to ask, is it because both games involve masks? And yes, you’re right.

Wéko and The Seven Deadly Sins

In this game, you play as Wéko, a lizard-like creature who arrives in a new world through a portal. Accompanied by Oz, your mission is to recover seven masks, each representing one of the seven deadly sins. Each boss you encounter wears a mask embodying a sin, the very masks you need to recover.

Evolving in an enchanting universe, with breathtaking graphics and marvelous music. You’ll enjoy every moment of this adventure.

Minor Flaws, Major Wins

The only regret is that the battles aren’t too difficult, but that’s just a bias. The biggest flaw is that the final boss is far from unforgettable and epic. If you overlook these few shortcomings, you’re looking at an incredible game that’s very generous in all the ways mentioned above.

What’s more, the gameplay is enriched by each mask you find, and I’m not talking about the primordial masks you collect after each victory over the bosses. I’m talking about the masks you find here and there. Whether they’re major skills or minor abilities. So you can perfect your character according to the way you play.

You don’t have to unlock everything to finish the game, but there’s nothing to stop you collecting all the masks and hidden weapons!

Wéko’s Storytelling Charm

Together with your spectators, you can look for and understand the few riddles that are available.

It’s a game that’s fun to follow, because it’s got a great atmosphere. A magnificent universe. Admittedly, there isn’t much replayability, but just going through the story and enjoying it with your subscribers is priceless.
