Valorant: Most players are in the Silver rank
If you play ranked matches in Valorant and are still “stuck” in the Silver rank, you don’t have to feel alone. Know this: the majority of Riot Games FPS players are also in the same rank as you.
In a recent update of the distribution of ranks in Valorant, the problem of ranks in the game was confirmed and showed that the vast majority of players are in the Silver rank, with the most important one, the Radiant rank, in extreme rarity.
According to the data, 23% of Valorant players are in one of the three categories of the Silver rank, showing how difficult it is to rank up in the game and confirming the theory of “Elo hell”, which are the Silver categories.
The most coveted ranks, of course, are the rarest, with the highest rank currently, the Radiant rank, having just 0.03% of Riot Games’ FPS players.

“Smurf” accounts on Valorant
The high number of players in Silver ranks may also indicate another problem in Valorant: a high number of “smurf” accounts, which are those players with high skill and very high ranks, but who create secondary accounts to help friends increase their links (or even to “play” with lower elo players).
