Valorant: Deadlock is officially introduced as the game’s new character

Not long before the start of another Episode in Valorant, Riot Games‘ tactical FPS. And in Episode 7, which starts this Tuesday (27), in addition to the long-awaited Team Deathmatch mode, there is also a new agent: Deadlock, a new Sentinel.

According to Valorant, Deadlock is a Norwegian agent who uses high-tech nanowires to protect the battlefield. Yes, the new agent specializes in defense and can ensure her team’s safety in battles.

Deadlock’s Abilities

GravNet (C)

EQUIP a GravNet grenade. SHOOT to launch. Use ALTERNATIVE FIRE to shoot at close range. GravNet detonates when it hits the ground, forcing enemies caught in it to crouch and move slowly.

Sonic Sensor (Q)

EQUIP a Sonic Sensor. SHOT to position. The sensor monitors the sounds of enemies in an area. Causes Concussion in the area if sounds of footsteps, gunshots or any significant noise are detected.

Barrier Mesh (E)

Equip a Containment Barrier disc. SHOOT to launch forward. When hitting the ground, the disk generates barriers from the point of origin that block the movement of characters.

Annihilation (X)

EQUIP a Nanowire Accelerator. FIRE to release a pulse of nanowires that captures the first enemy it encounters. The caged enemy is pulled into a trail of nanowires and killed if they reach the end of the trail, unless freed. The nanowire cocoon is destructible.

Valorant Episode 7 arrives in the game this Tuesday (27), with a new game mode, Team Deathmatch, the new agent Deadlock, a new progression system and, of course, a new Battle Pass, which has inspirations in futuristic designs and formats.
