TwitchCon: Megan Thee Stallion and Kim Petras are announced in the lineup

TwitchCon is Back! The event that celebrates content creators from this platform, which is the biggest live streaming platform of the world, will also have some very special guests: Megan Thee Stallion and Kim Petras.

This is the first time TwitchCon happens since 2020, when the event was replaced with its online version GlitchCon. Normally, TwitchCon happens twice a year, one taking place in North America and the other in Europe.

For the 2022 edition, which marks the return to its presencial format, the Twitch event will be happening between October 7 and October 9, in the city of San Diego in the United States.

The announcement of the performances from Megan Thee Stallion and Kim Petras, two great artists of the current musical scene, at the TwitchCon Party was made by Twitch official accounts on social media, and they also announced the band Meet Me @ The Altar in the event’s lineup.

TwitchCon Party performances will take place on saturday, October 8.

TwitchCon puts together content creators and streamers of the platform with their fans, during one weekend filled with games and special activities, such as TwitchCon Party and Twitch Rivals, an esports tournament with streamers and former pro players.

Although the focus of the event is the streamer and the community that consumes this kind of content, there will also be space for artists, of all different areas, to show their work and even sell some products. Also, this year will mark the first time that the event will have space for drag queens, with the first ever Drag Showcase.

A lot of famous streamers already confirmed their presence in the event, such as: pokimane, tyleroakley, DisguisedToast, cheebs and neeko.

With intense programming, the organisers also promised some surprises for those attending the event.
