This price update for channel subscriptions comes into effect months before the expansion of the Partner Plus Program, which will also reach affiliated channels that meet certain requirements, thus increasing the share of revenue from channel subscriptions on the platform.

The expansion of the Partner Plus Program will take place from May onwards.

This is the first time that channel subscription prices have been adjusted since their implementation on Twitch and it is not yet known whether prices will also be adjusted in other countries.

With the new prices, channel revenue in these countries is expected to also increase and, according to Twitch, the increase in revenue from channel subscriptions will help with the maintenance and development of the platform in the long term.
