History of The Streamer Awards

The Streamer Awards was created by QTCinderella, a prominent content creator, as a way to recognize and honor the talent and creativity within the streaming community. The inaugural event took place on March 12, 2022, and was held at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.

The idea was born out of a desire to create a dedicated platform to celebrate streamers’ achievements, much like traditional awards ceremonies do for film and television. The first event was live-streamed on Twitch and became an instant success, drawing over 380,000 concurrent viewers and establishing itself as a key moment in the live streaming industry. Since then, the Streamer Awards has grown into a marquee event, with increasing categories and widespread participation from fans and creators alike.
