The Game Awards 2022: Ludwig named Content Creator of the Year

A little over a year after leaving Twitch to stream on YouTube, Ludwig is honored with the Content Creator of the Year award at The Game Awards 2022.

The Game Awards 2022 celebrated the best of the gaming industry this Thursday (09), at an event in Los Angeles, with Ludwig standing out among the winners.

Competing with other top content creators and streamers for the award, Ludwig beat out Karl Jacobs, QTCinderella, Nobru and Nibellion in the Content Creator of the Year category, which honors the creator who has “made a positive and meaningful impact on the community”.

Ludwig broke through in 2022 with a mix of livestreams, events and videos, all on YouTube, thanks to a lucrative exclusivity deal with Google’s video platform.

The award at The Game Awards caps off a great year for Ludwig, who was also named Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards and Best Variety Streamer at the 12th Streamy Awards.

Ludwig’s selection as the winner in the Content Creator of the Year category was made by a combination of votes from a selected jury and fans, with 90% coming from the jury and 10% from the public vote.
