The countdown to the arrival of Set 11 in Teamfight Tactics, Riot Games’ auto battler set in the League of Legends universe, has begun! And while players enjoy the second stage of Set 10, Remix Rumble, let’s look at what we already know about what’s coming in TFT.

When does Set 11 arrive in Teamfight Tactics?

As already announced by Riot Games, Set 11 of Teamfight Tactics arrives in March. And as the auto battler follows League of Legends updates, the new Set arrives with Patch 14.6, scheduled for release on March 20th.

Of course, for those who access the League of Legends test server, the PBE, TFT Set 11 will be available two weeks before its official launch, that is, on March 6th.

Therefore, it is likely that an official announcement of Teamfight Tactics news will be made by Riot Games soon.

Set 11: theme and mechanics

After the Remix Rumble theme song in Set 10, Set 11 of Teamfight Tactics will explore the “Myths and Legends” of the LoL universe.

Without revealing many details, such as the new champions involved, Riot Games has already revealed the theme of the next TFT set, leaving players curious about what’s to come in the game.

As for the mechanics that will be used in the new Set, there is not much information yet, however, some things are certain:

• No Legends: The legends mechanic, where the player chooses a champion before combat to give their team specific benefits, does not return in Set 11. The gaming community has complained to Riot Games about the mechanic and the company is working to resolve it. Better to develop it and bring it back in a future Set.
• Augments: The Augments, random bonuses presented during the match, in specific rounds, return, and must be updated for the new Set, with new bonuses for the player.
• Portals: Another very popular mechanic among players, Portals will also be present in Set 11 of Teamfight Tactics. At the start of each match, players choose one of 3 different Portals, which offer different benefits specific to the match. The definition of the chosen Portal is done randomly.

Plans for TFT in 2024

In addition to Set 11, Riot Games has already revealed that 2024 will bring two other new Sets for Teamfight Tactics, with Set 12 being released in July and Set 13 at some point in the last quarter of the year.

The game’s anniversary, which takes place during the summer in the northern hemisphere, will also be celebrated and, according to Riot Games, it will be a celebration like never before, with a new event and game mode.
