Starfield becomes second most viewed first-party game in Twitch history
Starfield has barely arrived and is already making history for Bethesda and Microsoft. After a weekend of great popularity on Twitch, the game became the second most viewed first-party in the history of the Amazon live streaming platform.
Even before its official release, which takes place this Wednesday (06), with entry into the Xbox Game Pass catalog, Starfield proved to be more popular on Twitch than great titles produced by the same companies that manufacture the consoles, games known as “ first-party”, such as The Last of Us: Part II, Pokémon Legends: Arceus and God of War Ragnarok.
According to the TwitchTracker website. Bethesda’s new title reached peak viewership with 552,000 users on Twitch, making it the 42nd most popular category in the platform’s history.
Above Starfield, among the 41 other titles, only one is first-party. And it’s yet another Microsoft title: Minecraft. According to TwitchTracker, Minecraft garnered a peak audience of 1.93 million users on Twitch, making it the 3rd most popular game on the live streaming platform.
