SOULVARS: a fresh and modern JRPG with turn-based combat

If you and your audience are interested in classic JRPG’s and Deck-Building games, SOULVARS would be one of the best games for your live stream. With SOULVARS’s pixel art design, turn-based combat and fluent gameplay, you can have great times with your live streams.

A classic JRPG experience with an modern twist

SOULVARS brings back the classic JRPG experience with its turn-based combat and dungeons. Prepare your actions, or cards I should say, stick together with your team and get into action!

With SOULVARS’s fun, fluent and strategy-based gameplay, you can create an enjoyable live stream. Think about your moves and combine them. You can even discuss some tactics with your audience before a fight or move.

SOULVARS has a beautiful art and world but…

If we’re talking about a JRPG, story is one of the most important factor of this genre. Although SOULVARS offers to gamers a beautiful art and world, it lacks a strong story.

Yes, SOULVARS does have a story, characters and a questline to follow but the game doesn’t tell you all of the details. Of course, you’re free to read some descriptions about the story in game, but it’s definitely not the best way to listen a story for both you and your audience.

If you and your audience are in an expectation for an absorbing JRPG story, SOULVARS may disappoint you. But when you focus on gameplay and atmosphere, it is clear that SOULVARS does its job pretty well.

Despite SOULVARS’s good factors, I have to tell you that if you and your audience are not interested in classic JRPG’s and turn-based combat, this game won’t work for your stream.

Gameplay here is always fun and fluent, but dungeons are so ordinary and can get boring sometimes. And as it is a classic JRPG, random encounters never let you go.

I tested SOULVARS’s PC version on STEAM and it works awesome. There are no glitches, crashes or any problems in animations on combats.

If we’re going to talk about gameplay time, SOULVARS offers you up to ten and more hours of gameplay. It’s not that long for an JRPG game, but you can play this game for quite a long time in your live streams. And I need to add that, although the game offers you some post-game activities, there are not much reason to turn back and replay SOULVARS as you don’t make any choices to change the story itself.

Summary

With its fresh JRPG style, turn-based combat and amazing art design, SOULVARS turns out to be one of the best games to play on live streams lately. It does have some problem in story and dungeons, but in total, it offers a nice experience.
