Revenue from professional streamers expected to be over $100 million in 2023
Good news for anyone who is a professional streamer or dreams of becoming one: the market is growing! According to analysts, professional game streamers will have a total revenue of more than 100 million dollars in 2023.
The information is from the Sports Lens website (with data from the Statista website) and the impressive number of revenue in the sector is 22% higher than in what it was in 2022, also being the biggest growth in revenue in the history of the category so far.
The rise of professional streamers
If there’s one industry that has boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s professional game streamers.
In 2020, the first year of the pandemic, the growth of the three main game streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming and Facebook Gaming) was 81% compared to the pre-pandemic period.
