Palworld reaches new peak on Steam and is the 2nd most popular game in the platform’s history

Palworld‘s success is undeniable, after all, the numbers don’t lie. In just four days of its launch, the Pocketpair title continues to grow and is already the 2nd most popular game in Steam’s history.

Even though it was released simultaneously on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, Palworld became a true sales phenomenon in its PC version, achieving more than 6 million units sold, so far.

And with so many sales, players were also very interested in the game, which mixes adventure, survival and capturing creatures, as the title reached a new peak of simultaneous players on Steam: 1,830,531.

In just 4 days, the game has already become the second most popular in Steam’s history, whether paid or free, behind only PUBG, which had 3.2 million simultaneous players in 2018, before becoming a free game.

With recent stability updates and bug fixes, Palworld, which is still in Early Access, is expected to grow its player base even further.

There is also the expectation that the title will arrive on other platforms soon, especially on PlayStation consoles.

On Twitch, interest in Palworld is also high. According to the website StreamsCharts, the game, affectionately nicknamed “Pokémon with guns”, was the most watched title on Amazon’s live streaming platform during January 19th and 21st.

According to data released by the website, Palworld achieved a total of 17.77 million hours watched, surpassing other popular titles on the platform, such as GTA V and League of Legends.
