“Overwatch 2”: In a month, the new game is already bigger than its predecessor on Twitch

Despite all the performance problems and the constantly presented bugs, “Overwatch 2” is a great success and in addition to the more than 35 million players conquered, the Blizzard Entertainment game is already bigger than its predecessor on Twitch.

Released on October 4, “Overwatch 2” was one of the highlights of Twitch in the 10th month of 2022, debuting in the Top 3 of the most watched categories on the Amazon streaming platform.

According to information from the StreamElements website, the game ended the month of October with a total of 133 million hours watched, ranking 3rd among the most viewed categories on the platform.

If we exclude the “Just Chatting” category, which remains the biggest hit on Twitch, “Overwatch 2” is second only to “League of Legends”, a game that reached 157 million hours watched.
