Overwatch 2: Everything we know about Season 10

While Season 9 of Overwatch 2 continues in full swing, with players climbing the Battle Pass levels and earning their competitive ranks, many are already eagerly awaiting what’s to come. And here we bring you everything we already know about Season 10 of Blizzard’s FPS.

When does Season 10 arrive in Overwatch 2?

This is the easiest question to answer, since we officially know when Season 9 ends. With this, Season 10 of Overwatch 2 will be officially released on April 9th.

Despite the information about the end of Season 9 available in the game, the start date of Season 10 is still unofficial, as Blizzard may end up postponing the start of the new phase of the game for better adjustments.

What to expect from Season 10?

Even after the many changes brought in Season 9, Season 10 of Overwatch 2 will bring significant news to players, including a new character.

As announced by Blizzard, Season 10 of Overwatch 2 will bring the character Venture. From the Damage class (DPS), Venture comes with unique gameplay, with an ability (Drill Dash) in which the character enters the earth and becomes invulnerable, causing great damage when returning to the surface.

Shield gain whenever the character uses Drill Dash

Competitive Points

Season 9 brought changes to Competitive Points in Overwatch 2, adding a new category of Points, used to purchase new Jade weapon skins.

To purchase the desired Golden skins for weapons, players would have to wait for the end of the 2024 competitive season, when Competitive Points become Legacy Points, used to purchase golden weapons.

With players a little confused by the new system, Blizzard has already revealed that it is studying the possibility of purchasing golden weapons with 2024 Competitive Points. If confirmed, this change should happen in Season 10 of Overwatch 2.
