Ninja reaches new milestone on Twitch

Ninja is one of the most popular streamers today and is one of those who changed the landscape of the live game streaming market. Now, he has much more to celebrate, as he has reached a new milestone on Twitch.

Famous for his Fortnite broadcasts, Ninja was one of the first names in the streamer community to win a million-dollar contract, when he became exclusive to the now-defunct Mixer platform.

On Twitch, the American streamer celebrates 13 years of activity on his channel, which was created on January 16, 2011, with a new record: 19 million followers.

The number establishes him as the most followed streamer on Twitch, being the only one to date to reach this mark, surpassing second place, the Spanish streamer Auronplay, by more than 3 million followers.

It was in 2018 that Ninja became a renowned streamer, thanks to the success of his broadcasts of Fortnite, Epic Games’ popular battle royale, when he reached his highest peak of viewers on Twitch: 633 thousand users, on April 22, 2018, according to the website StreamsCharts.

His success with Fortnite is so great that the streamer himself has already won an exclusive skin in the game.

With more than 4 thousand hours of broadcast on Twitch, Ninja has an average audience of 14 thousand viewers.

The milestone of 19 million followers on his channel was achieved after the great success of the Fortnite Roots Season, when Ninja gained between 1.5 thousand and 2 thousand followers via live broadcast.

While Ninja remains in the lead with a big advantage in second place, other big names in the global streamer community appear prominently in the Twitch Top 10, considering the total number of followers.

In a scenario still largely dominated by male names, Pokimane stands out as the only woman among the 10 most followed streamers on Amazon’s live streaming platform.
