League of Legends: Preliminary patch notes for version 13.19
Riot Games is preparing for World 2023, the League of Legends world championship and one of the biggest and most important eSports tournaments on the planet, and the well-known pre-tournament update is arriving soon.
Version 13.19 will be officially launched on September 27th and will bring some changes to the game, which will last throughout Worlds 2023. Among the new features, changes to 13 characters, including nerfs and buffs, and updates to two items.
The arrival times for patch 13.19 are:
- 3am PT (NA)
- 5am GMT (EU West)
- 3am CET (EU North East)
- 8am KR (Korea)
Update 13.19, and all previously released .19 versions, are important for Riot Games to keep the League of Legends metagame strong and solid enough for Worlds to run smoothly.
It is also important that the metagame is interesting enough to attract and keep the crowd of spectators attentive to each world championship match.
Worlds 2023 takes place in South Korea, starting on October 10th, with the final scheduled for November 19th.
League of Legends buffs and nerfs
Among the buffs and nerfs of patch 13.19, some characters beloved by Worlds 2023 pro players and players in general appear on the list.
For the most part, Riot Games improved the characters to make them even more attractive for Worlds 2023 matches, but three of these characters suffered from reduced power.

Nerfs
- Rek’Sai
- Renekton
- Zeri
So far, Riot Games has not yet specifically revealed what changes these characters will undergo in League of Legends patch 13.19.
Among the items, two of them will also gain improvements, namely:
- Randuin’s Omen
- Seeker’s Armguard
Other changes to the game are also expected in version 13.19, to be released soon by Riot Games.
