League of Legends: Patch 13.24 Preview

After a great world championship, which crowned the South Korean team T1 as the great champion, it is time for League of Legends to receive a new update, which will bring changes to the game and a new champion: Hwei.

Hwei, a champion of unique style

Introduced during the Worlds 23 final, Hwei arrives in League of Legends with a unique gameplay style: instead of having 4 skills like ~almost~ all champions, he has 10 skills in total.

The way you play is to combine two keys (Q, W or E) to perform a unique ability, thus expanding your gaming possibilities.

Buff and Nerfs in League of Legends

As is already customary in the more than 10 years of League of Legends, some Buffs (character improvements) and Nerfs (character weakenings) are expected and according to Matt Leung-Harrison, Lead Gameplay Designer of the Riot Games’ MOBA, there will be many Buffs .

“With the game changing pretty significantly next patch, we’re looking to make improvements to champions that will persist through the item changes,” stated Matt on his official X (formerly Twitter) page.

Let’s start with the Nerfs. According to Matt, in update 13.24, only two champions will be nerfed: Brian and Ivern.

Among the Buffs, Matt informed that 11 characters in total will be strengthened to better position them in the game’s meta.

Mana regen: 6 >>> 7 – R minimum/secondary knockup duration: 0.3 >>> 0.6

Galio

Q cooldown: 12-10 >>> 12-8

Gragas

Passive cooldown: 12 >>> 12/10/8/6

K’Sante

W mana: 60/../80 >>> 40/…/60

W resist damage ratio: 30% >>> 50%

Leona

W resistances: 20-40 >>> 20-50

R damage: 100-250 >>> 150-300

Lucian

E cooldown: 22-14 >>> 19-14

Mordekaiser

Q AP ratio: 60% >>> 70%

NEW: R reaveals his target on start of cast (brush doesn’t cancel the ability)

Qiyana

Mana: 320 + 50 >>> 375 +60

Talon

NEW: Ranged Q resets auto-attack (matches melee Q)

Zeri

AD Growth: 1.3 >>> 2

W Damage: 20-180 >>> 30-190

When will Patch 13.24 be released?

Patch 13.24 arrives in League of Legends on December 6th, possibly being the game’s last update before the patch 14 pre-season begins.
