Kick and YouTube Gaming’s Biggest Streamers in April
The world of live streaming of games does not only live on Twitch and even though they are not yet competitors at the height of the Amazon giant, Kick and YouTube Gaming continue to compete for a slice of this market, with their biggest streamers leading this dispute.
In April, several names already known to the public stood out on both platforms competing with Twitch, especially on YouTube Gaming, where Pekora, currently the most popular VTuber, took the lead of the most watched channels in live broadcasts on the Google platform, according to a StreamsCharts website report.
The Japanese VTuber has earned a total of 3.10 million hours watched of live streams on YouTube. The number is very close to second place, Kuzuha, another Japanese VTuber, which ended April with a total of 3.01 million hours watched.
The Top 3 is completed by the Brazilian streamer NOBRU, who topped the list in March. The South American streamer ended April with 2.98 million hours watched.

Currently in the spotlight because of its mission to compete directly with Twitch, especially in its community policy and ads and subscription sharing revenue, Kick already has some strong names in its roster of streamers.
And it is mistaken that the biggest one is Trainwreck, co-founder of the platform. In April, once again, the leader among the most watched streamers is Adin Ross. And with a huge difference.
According to data from StreamCharts, Adin Ross ended the month of April on Kick with a total of 6.25 million hours watched. The number is 323% higher than second place Trainwreck, which ended the same period with 1.93 million hours watched.
