Fortnite launches partnership with Yoshitaka Amano, legendary Japanese illustrator
Fortnite partnerships remain firm and strong and after content inspired by big names in music, pop culture and even fashion brands, now Epic Games‘ battle royale launches an artistic partnership, with Yoshitaka Amano, legendary Japanese illustrator.
Yoshitaka Amano is no newcomer to the gaming world. The Japanese artist is responsible for the art of the first four games in the popular Final Fantasy franchise, working as the main visual, graphics and character designer for the games, as well as creating illustrations for Vampire Hunter D.
In Fortnite, Amano created a set with skin and cosmetic items for the character called Crossheart.
The Amano’s Heart set
The Amano’s Heart Set is now available in the Fortnite store, priced at 1800 V-Bucks. With it, in addition to the Coralina skin, the player also receives:
- Crossheart Outfit
- Swoonsail Glider
- Breakheart Blade Pickaxe
- Blushing Red Wrap
- Holo-Glow Back Bling
- Crossheart’s Arrival Loading Screen
All items are in the Rare category and some of them can be purchased separately. Only the Loading Screen that is exclusive to the Amano’s Heart Set and the Back Accessory is already included in the purchase of the skin.
The Amano’s Heart Set will be available in the Fortnite store for a few days.
The next season of Fortnite
After postponement, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will end on June 9 at 2:00 AM ET. There is still no information on whether there will be an end of season event and when the new season begins.
Rumor has it that the new first-person mode could also be featured in the upcoming season of Epic Games’ popular battle royale.
