Fortnite 6 Years

Fortnite celebrates six years with new missions and special rewards

Fortnite is turning 6 years old this September and has prepared a whole week of celebrations, filled with new missions and special rewards, as well as, of course, some items to liven up Epic Games‘ Battle Royale.

Officially launched on September 26, 2017, Fortnite quickly became one of the most popular games in the world, winning over millions of players and fans and popularizing the Battle Royale genre for an entire generation of gamers.

To celebrate its 6 years of launch, Fortnite has prepared some special things, now available along with update 26.10, which arrived in the game this Tuesday (19).

Fortnite special items

To begin with, Epic Games’ Battle Royale has included some new items in the game, which will liven up the battles and give an air of celebration that is quite appropriate for this anniversary period.

They are:

  • Birthday Cake

Quickly recovers Health and Shield.

  • Birthday Presents

Mystery box with special items.

  • Balloons

Lighten up and float around the map.

There’s also a new Reality Augment, special for Fortnite’s anniversary: Jump Balloon Reality Augment. With it, whenever the player jumps, they will receive a balloon, until they reach the maximum number of balloons they can carry.

All items will remain in the game until the next update, version 26.20.

Missions and Rewards

To make the game even more festive, new Fortnite anniversary missions and special rewards have been added for this celebratory week.

Missions generate experience points and also deliver some special items.

Fortnite 6 years
  • Complete 1 Birthday Quest: Birthday Basher Pickaxe
  • Complete 3 Birthday Quests: Birthday Dash Spray
  • Complete 5 Birthday Quests: Slice O’ Six Back Bling

All missions will be available in the game until next Tuesday, September 26th.
