Elon Musk plays Diablo 4 in live stream test on X, former Twitter
Since purchasing Twitter, Elon Musk has been making significant changes to the microblogging social network, many of which have been criticized by users. And far beyond changing the name of the platform to X, now the businessman has his eyes on a slice of the live game streaming market.
Yes, Elon Musk also wants to enter the battle of live streaming platforms, currently led by Twitch.
A fan of the Diablo game franchise, the businessman used an alternative profile to perform a test live broadcast playing Diablo 4 on X, to check his platform’s capacity for this service.
Elon Musk’s broadcast on X
It’s no news that Elon Musk is a regular player of Diablo 4 and the businessman used the game to test a live broadcast on X through one of his alternative profiles: @cyb3rgam3r420.
The broadcast lasted around 52 minutes and Elon was watched by more than 20 thousand people, with an average of 1,200 users in his audience.
Considered a success by the businessman, the broadcast had some problems highlighted by the public that should be fixed in the future by the platform, such as the lack of a live chat in addition to some audio and video problems.
The live streaming function on X is already, as Elon Musk himself pointed out, a tool available to subscribers of the social network’s Premium plan.

Live streaming on Twitter
Despite being a novelty presented by Elon Musk for X Premium subscribers, this is not the first time that Twitter, as the social network was called before its sale, has made live broadcasting available on its platform.
Previously, Twitter used an integration with Periscope to allow its users to broadcast live on the social network. Despite being popular for a period, the platform quickly lost strength in the live streaming market.
