In City 20, we take on the role of an inhabitant of a secret city quarantined after a nuclear accident. This city will evolve according to our choices. There are several factions in the city, and each faction contains non-playable characters (NPCs) with different personalities and needs.

Crafting and Survival Essentials in City 20

We’ll need to make a variety of items that will become available as the adventure progresses, such as sticks and tools, as well as more advanced tables like a workshop or a wood-burning stove.

By creating tools, we’ll be able to hunt and farm to meet our basic needs. Speaking of needs, we’ll need to pay attention to our energy and sleep, as well as food and thirst.

City 20‘s NPC Interactions and Realistic Consequences

NPCs will have desired items, such as specific foodstuffs, or special objects, such as toy robots, which will increase the relationship with the NPC in question.

These characters will also have requests to submit to you, such as fetching petrol or bringing food to another character. They’ll also have habits, so we can anticipate their movements, but be careful not to disturb them during their habits.

Be careful, as each action has its own reaction: for example, entering a house that isn’t ours without knocking will result in the resident’s displeasure, or knocking a faction’s guard may make that faction dislike you.

As resources are limited, we’ll have to choose what we want to do with each resource, so we’ll have some choices to make. Take it peacefully, or take it violently.
