Cat Quest III: As Incredible As Its Predecessors
How can you not love an adventure where you can be an adorable cat and a pirate at the same time? And even more so in cooperative mode! Yes, Cat Quest III follows in the same style as its predecessors, upping its quality and maintaining the gameplay that its fans love.
In Cat Quest III, We Have Action, Challenges and Many, Many Cat Puns
One of its high points is certainly its humor and jokes, which delight the player and the audience, after all, the whole world we explore is full of charismatic and amusing characters.
But make no mistake, the game can also be quite challenging at times, requiring the player to explore the areas well and obtain new levels and equipment to strengthen themselves. It really rewards players who like to explore.
Its simple gameplay makes it easy to understand how the game works. Here we have a giant world map, where you explore it on foot or with your ship, being able to face enemies, talk to characters and pick up side quests quickly.
Some areas allow the player to enter and explore caves, castles, lairs, towers and other locations.
A Wide Variety of Content Allows Players to Customize Their Experience
One of the most eye-catching features of the Cat Quest series is certainly the wide range of items and equipment, allowing the player to choose the way they prefer during the game. With me, I used a Mage Cat using a lot of magic and my friend, who was my companion on the adventures, used more long-distance weapons. We found lots of different items that allowed us to easily choose and change our skills.
The same goes for the good number of enemies and quests to complete, something that streamers will be able to make the most of as it’s a lot of fun to complete the map here.
In addition, its entertaining story from start to finish is sure to hook both the player and his audience.
There are A Few Problems in Cat Quest III, But They Don’t Spoil The Experience
There are a few things that can frustrate players new to the experience a little, where very powerful enemies exist on the map, so that the player feels a little less invited to explore the open world, where extremely dangerous places can easily be reached, which ends up making the experience a little too linear at times, especially with an open world to explore.
Ship combat isn’t very polished either, sometimes being a bit difficult to control and causing frustrating defeats.
It’s also not possible for both players to use the same item. If you pick up a duplicate item, it only increases the level of the existing one, which isn’t absurd, but it does reduce the customization of the cooperative mode.
Tested on the PC version through STEAM, the game runs well and smoothly on most machines, without needing very high requirements and the game has been translated into a total of 12 languages.
