YouTube tests its own video editing app
As today’s leading video platform, YouTube is taking another step to further centralize video creation in its interface and is currently testing its own video editing application.
The idea of the Google video platform is to facilitate the creation of videos, offering specific video editing tools and access to more than the basics offered by the platform today.
Called YouTube Create, the application is being tested with some guest creators on the platform.
YouTube Create details
YouTube Create is in Closed Beta testing and is an application for mobile devices, currently only available for the Android operating system, which will allow you to edit videos directly from your cell phone library.
Following the familiar interface of other popular video editors, YouTube Create will also allow you to add photos from your cell phone library, transitions, effects, filters, stickers and overlays, among other tools.
The application will also allow you to create clips more easily, in addition to cutting and other tools typical of video editors. All this, of course, integrated directly into YouTube.
Free music library
Another benefit of YouTube Create is direct access to the Google Video Platform’s free music library. With this, the creator will be able to insert a copyright-free soundtrack more easily in their videos.
In addition, editing the application will also allow you to add music from your cell phone library.
YouTube Create arrives as Google’s video platform’s direct response to Instagram’s Reels editing tools, directly in the social network app.
There is still no information about the release of the new app to the general public and whether it will have a version for iOS devices along with the Android version.
