Twitch x Kick: The race for streamers
Since its official launch at the end of 2022, Kick has remained firm and strong in its dispute for a share of the Twitch market, the current leader among live streaming platforms. Now, the focus is on the dispute for the biggest streamers.
As a co-founder and spokesperson for Kick, streamer Trainwreck has always been clear about his desire to bring top Twitch streamers for his platform and in a recent live stream he confirmed some of the names he has his sights on.
Talking to the streamer known as YourRAGE, Trainwreck revealed which names he thinks would be awesome to have on Kick.
“Do you know how wild it’d be if we had you [YouRAGE], Bruce [BruceDropEmOff], Dr Disrespect, NICKMERCS, Summit and Kai [Cenat] on the platform?” asked Trainwreck. “That would be a crazy setup, wouldn’t it?”, he ended up saying.
The list of names cited by Trainwreck may have further ignited rumors that Kai Cenat, currently the top streamer on Twitch, could be moving to Kick.
Adin Ross also wants Kai Cenat on Kick
Of course, as the biggest streamer on Twitch right now, Kai Cenat is the main topic of the streamer dispute between Kick and Twitch, and it looks like more people are trying to convince him to leave the Amazon platform.
Already on Kick for a few months, Adin Ross also wants Kai Cenat to leave Twitch for the competitor co-founded by Trainwreck, where the streamer, according to Adin Ross, will be able to earn much more money from his work.
In a phone conversation with Kai Cenat, Adin Ross stated: “Listen man. I just wanna say I saw that little thing that went out today, they [Tiwtch] said they made $20 million off you and you got two [million].”
“I just want to let you know you’re worth a lot more than that. And there’s a platform called Kick and they’ll never ban you, you’ll never get banned.”
“They (Twitch) made $20M and you got $2M, I just want to let you know you’re worth more than that and there is a platform named Kick”

There is still no confirmation about any change in Kai Cenat’s platform, but some believe that it is a matter of time for the streamer to sign with Kick.
