Fast Food Simulator: The Customer is Always Right

If your dream job is working at a fast food restaurant, then look no further. Fast Food Simulator gives you the unique opportunity to start your own business and manage every aspect of your restaurant, from cooking and cleaning to managing inventory.

Cooking Your First Burger in Fast Food Simulator

There isn’t any story to start with, but these type of games don’t always need one. The prologue is essentially a very short tutorial that introduces the gameplay mechanics and lets you decide the name of your restaurant. Once you give it a name, you will be able to use your PC and order food supplies like frozen beef patties and burger buns. A truck will show up to deliver you the ordered products, but you will have to physically take them from the truck and bring them to the kitchen. In the meantime customers will arrive and sit at numbered tables, with their orders displayed on a screen. Your task is to prepare the meals with the necessary ingredients and serve them at the respective tables

The Capitalist Dream: Serve, Smile, Profit!

The main objective is to make a profit each day by keeping customers happy and delivering their orders quickly and in good condition. The quality of your cooked products and service will measure your popularity and affect the amount of money you receive. At the end of the day, you can check your profits and other useful stats on the scoreboard. It may seem easy to keep customers happy, but as you level up and increase the popularity of your restaurant, the number of customers will double and you will have to be faster while maintaining the same quality of food and service. And don’t forget to keep your restaurant clean.

Money management is also a key part of the game. Profits can be reinvested in hiring new staff or purchasing more supplies. As you gain experience and level up, you can also unlock new food types like French fries, chicken nuggets, soft drinks and more. Overall, the game offers an authentic experience of working at a fast food restaurant, which may feel repetitive after a while, since you have to manually do everything. Due to its early access state, replayability isn’t great if you’re playing solo, as you can experience everything the game has to offer within a few hours.

Managing a Restaurant with Your Friends in Fast Food Simulator

Fast Food Simulator reaches its full potential in multiplayer mode. Running the restaurant with up to six friends or strangers can lead to a lot of fun and chaotic moments, especially with the voice and text chat features. The multiplayer mode also enhances replayability and is highly recommended for those who want to stream the game, as it will undoubtedly increase audience engagement.

A Solid Start with Room for Improvement

Visually speaking and considering its early access state, the game looks decent. However, some improvements are needed regarding the NPC animations and certain parts of the restaurant appear rather empty. Although minor bugs and glitches exist, they don’t affect the experience and the overall performance is generally good. The sound design effectively sets the atmosphere of a real fast food restaurant, with kitchen noises and background chatter from customers creating an immersive environment.

While there are some aspects that still need improvement, Fast Food Simulator excels in providing an authentic and engaging experience. The game captures the essence of running a fast food restaurant and is definitely worth a try if you are looking for this type of simulator.
