YouTube launches more than 30 games for the platform’s Premium subscribers
Already established as the largest video platform on the planet, YouTube continues to expand its services and has launched more than 30 games for its Premium subscribers.
Yes, YouTube Playables is already starting to work, after some tests in September, and brings several online games, directly from Google’s video platform, without the need for additional downloads.
The objective of YouTube Playables is to revolutionize the way users interact with games on the platform by offering instant access to various titles without any type of download, whether of applications or any other type of format.
This way, users avoid overloading their devices with several different applications and stay longer on the YouTube platform, immersed in its ecosystem.
The games
While in September the tests were carried out with selected users, now YouTube Playables will be gradually made available to Premium users of the platform. This new testing phase, according to Google, will continue until March 28, 2024.
Among the games announced are titles that are easily accessible online, such as Daily Solitaire, The Daily Crossword, Angry Birds Showdown, Merge Pirates, Farm Land, Words of Wonder, Endless Siege, 8 Ball Billiards Classic, Brain Out, Scooter Extreme, Cannon Balls 3D and several others.
Playables can be accessed on iOS, Android devices and PCs.
How to access YouTube Playables
YouTube Premium subscribers can access Playables on their devices after completing a few steps on their account on the platform.
- Access your account through the YouTube app
- Look for the “Your Premium Benefits” section
- Click “Try Experimental New Features”
Once available in your account, Playables will be available in the “Games Room” section, at the “Home” tab, or the “Games Room” link on desktop and mobile devices.
Playables is expected to be available to all Premium subscribers in the coming weeks.
