Forza Motorsport: simulation and casual racer’s next-gen game

Faster than fast, quicker than quick… Forza Motorsport’s new game is finally released after 6 years.

Prepare your engines and set up your tires, Forza Motorsport’s next game comes up for who loves to race in their streams, in both casual and simulation ways.

Follow your racing line and be the champion

Forza Motorsport series is Xbox’s sim racing games, unlike Forza Horizon series. That means while Forza Horizon games are more likely to suit casual gamers, Forza motorsport series is for sim racers.

Of course casual gamers can play and enjoy Motorsport series either, but a streamer has to think about their audience. Does the streamer and their audience love arcade race games or realistic ones? You have to find a balance between them or choose one of them or you can lose interest in your stream.

Then let’s talk about Forza Motorsport’s driving mechanics and how sim or arcade race game Forza Motorsport is.

The new Forza Motorsport game is a simulation race game as it could be. What I’m trying to tell you is that, although mechanics still feels like both casual and sim game, the simulation side is a little bit heavier. These are important things to point out because the audience will choose your stream by looking at it.

If you’re a professional sim racer, it still can be a good choice, of course, if you’re searching for a next-gen game, but I need to say that Forza Motorsport has still a casual side.

The causality that Forza Motorsport has can be a positive thing though. If you’re struggling with sim race games, then you can use Forza Motorsport’s casual side and customize difficulty as you wish.

While you can customize your game style and choose whether the game will have a simulation or casual gameplay, you can also spend enjoyable times customizing cars.

Forza Motorsport is now called CarPG (car RPG). That means you can select a vehicle and increase its level, unlock new parts for it and upgrade them.

Although it’s a fun feature, if you want a full detailed upgrade system, I don’t think you would be satisfied with this upgrade system.

Feel next gen’s power while spending hours on tracks

Forza Motorsport has 499 cars and 20 tracks with their variations on its launch. These numbers will probably increase with DLC’s and I hope so, because the tracks number can feels a little bit poor.

Forza Motorsport is a huge game. Even only career mode offers you dozens of hours of gameplay. And also, this is a racing game. Race as long as you want, upgrade your cars, join online races, maybe you would like to race with your audience as the game is free on Game Pass.

Before talking about performance, we have to talk about Forza Motorsport’s graphics. Aside from mechanics, Forza Motorsport looks amazing. Reflections, textures… everything looks perfect even in performance mode on Xbox Series X.

A viewer even would like to watch a Forza Motorsport race due to its graphics. Performance on the other hand…

I’ve tested Forza Motorsport on both PC (Xbox App) and Xbox Series X. While console performance is pretty good even in Performance RT mode, on PC, on the other hand, the game is suffers a little bit and on both platforms the game have some bugs. The good news is: It’s getting some updates and fixing this problems quickly at least.
