As Steam Next Fest has started and new indie game demos are out, most of gamers and streamers are looking for a new game to discover.

Cyber Paradise is a 2D action roguelike game. In Cyber Paradise you control an athletic character who has to fight with her enemies.

First of all, as a 2D action game, Cyber Paradise has a fast and smooth gameplay. Both playing and wathcing Cyber Paradise is definitely fun. Approaching, dodging and destroying your enemies is what makes you want to keep playing it.

Aside from action mechanics, roguelike system is what make Cyber Paradise interesting and can make players or viewers stick to their screens.

As in a roguelike game, when you die you start all over again and before starting again, you gain some additions but increasing your stats is not the only thing you do.

You collect cards in Cyber Paradise and those cards can increase your stats or add some special abilities to you. You have to choose them carefully, because you can’t use all cards you collect at the same time. Choosing and upgrading them forms the Cyber Paradise’s roguelike system.

Dying is not always a total loss in roguelike games, as you know. And with this card mechanics, it helps improve game’s tempo and make it fun to watch it with its fast gameplay.

Lost in Cyber Paradise’s beautiful cyperpunk world

Cyber Paradise has a beautiful cyberpunk world and art design to look at it. Even just looking at the places feels great. Not only the places is well prepared, but also the designs for the enemies and characters look great either.

And we can add some of the glitch events that happen in games to this. Not a traditional glitch of course, its an sequence the game activates when we acquire the specific item.

Of course there’s also a story to experience it but right now, it’s too early to say something about Cyber Paradise’s story. It could be fun to listen with your audience, but we still need to wait for the full release to answer that.

Although I’ve only played the demo and I’m also suggesting you to try it, this game has a big potential to offer long playtimes. Even the demo offers you some new approaches to the level which is avaible and the full game will probably be a good one in terms of replayability, as this is a roguelike example.

I’ve tested Cyber Paradise’s PC version on STEAM and I haven’t seen any problems. Game’s still in pre-release version, so you can bump into some bugs or glitches, the developer says, but I’m sure that those problems will be fixed when the game’s full version is released.
